Brighouse
Following two trial nights in December 2008 and January 2009 the idea of Street Angels will be taken to the January Churches Together in Brighouse meeting. Both nights saw around twelve volunteers from the local community and churches but not many people in the pubs or on the streets (though all the restaurants were very busy!) A further look round Brighouse in September 09 saw an equally quiet town centre. We will carry on monitoring the situation but feel Street Angels are not needed in Brighouse!
Volunteers and Police at our first Brighouse Trial Evening, 12th December -
a cold and wet night with not that many people in the pubs or on the streets.
