Preparation:
Frame your talk - who's there, what's the core message, what do I want them to go away with?
Plan with plain paper/post-its.
Delivery:
Be yourself, get eye contact, tell great stories "be slightly larger than life" - 125%.
Video yourself next time to see yourself in action!
Anxiety:
What's your routine?
Take thoughts captive and replace them with good stuff.
Beforehand - rehearse bits and prepare the stage / venue / technical stuff.
Breath deeply, sip water - remember whoever they are - they won't kill you - honest!
Afterwards - ask yourself "Did i do my best?" NOT "Was it perfect"
Give feedback too when asked.

- Worthwhile having the three days together for networking you feel more comfortable to share ideas then
- Amazing we would like it at The Fuse again
- Abundantly blessed
- Learned a lot from yesterday during the workshops and there has been laughter and tears and a great weekend - really blessed thank you
- Workshops were all really good and dealt with difficult issues
- Great to network and have this friendship again and don’t stop being afraid of tackling the hard stuff as this is healthy challenge for the volunteers
- Fantastic camaraderie of the whole weekend and meeting other groups
- Good to see the police support represented and surprising to see the impact of the volunteers
- Not long enough and wanted more!
- The relaxed programme worked as learned from each other's experience.
- Thoroughly enjoyed it and food excellent and good to speak with other people
