Jesus Loves Festivals and Clubbers! In fact Jesus loves everyone - clubbers, club and pub owners, bar staff, door staff, police, ambulance, those up to no good and those who are extremely saintly! He loves everyone and in his heart of hearts he wants everyone to love him, because that is when life begins to make sense!
We know that is a massive claim to make but we believe it is true. We believe Jesus was the most significant person to ever live - his talks and teachings are still discussed and debated today. He loved those on the edges of society, he upset the political and religious leaders of the day, he healed the sick, raised the dead and spoke truths about life, faith, spirituality and God. We also believe he was sentenced to a cruel death - murdered on a cross - because he claimed to be the Son of God. The death was part of God's eternal plan - knowing us humans mess up and need help - it was God's way of offering life, love, forgiveness, hope, peace and a way to life beyond the here and now. We also believe that death was not the end - he returned - came back to life - showed off the nail pierced holes in his hands to those who doubted.
Today the church that was started back in the days of Jesus (2000 ish years ago) is stronger than ever - worldwide people daily are making the decision to make the person of Jesus the central point to life - to live a life centred around him and bring the life and hope he offers to others and the wider community. The person who offered you this book is likely to be a Christian who volunteers in a town or city at night with a project that works on the streets, in nightclubs, pubs, communities or at festivals. Together we are helping make the Kingdom of God Jesus spoke about a reality - crime is reduced, people are helped and love is demonstrated.

Jesus Loves Festivals - a unique design that links in to our work around various UK music festivals.
Festival Angels wanted to develop a design that shared the person and message of Jesus with the tens of thousands of young people at the music festivals we work at. We approached Tim Woodson, a graphic designer, and he designed Jesus Loves Festivals. We created banners and some special Jesus Loves Festivals edition of Mark's Gospel using The Message version. Hundreds of copies of the Gospel are taken at music festivals and festival-goers love the opportunity for a selfie with Jesus! We also have Jesus Loves Festivals temporary tattoos which are extremely popular with young people at music festivals and events. |

Jesus Loves Clubbers - because the concept of Jesus Loves worked so well at music festivals we asked Tim to create Jesus Loves Clubbers.
In partnership with Scripture Union we had several thousand copies of Jesus Loves Clubbers Mark's Gospel printed which are available to our street and club teams to give to those who want to know more about Jesus and the Christian aspect of why we do what we do. 
Jesus Loves Yorkshire - a church then contacted us to ask if we could design Jesus Loves to be used around the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race. Tim got to work and a flat cap wearing Jesus surrounded by the Yorkshire hills, viaduct, sheep and cyclists was created!
Banners were displayed along the Tour route over several years, made it onto the global TV coverage on several occasions and social media images caused lots of discussion! Jesus Loves is a simple message with on trend designs that causes people to take notice, ask questions and realise afresh that Jesus loves people and is for people! |
