Dear friends, As we approach what will probably be the busiest weekend of the year for your volunteers, may we take this opportunity to thank you for the amazing work you do within your local community. Each week hundreds of volunteers brave the weather to make the difference in around 120 towns and cities. The results are reduction in violent crime, sexual assaults and anti-social behaviour; thousands of people receiving help; and tens of thousands of volunteer hours invested into the local community. Please thank your volunteers, supporters, steering groups and partners and wish them a Merry Christmas from us! As we move forward in 2013 we are gathering regional coordinators together for a weekend in January and planning our first weekend National Conference in August. We are also looking at supporting and increasing some of the work already taking place within Music Festivals and seeing how we can offer accredited training for volunteers. Partnering with NeighbourhoodPrayer.net we are hoping to see every street in the UK have someone who will "prayer, care and share".
