CNI Network at Big Church Day Out!

CNI Network were once again heading up the Welfare team at Big Church Day Out. This annual event was held for the first time in two locations, North and South. At both venues we had an amazing team of volunteers who worked alongside Christian Police Association volunteers looking after Safeguarding. Our 'Festival Angels' role was to wander round the site helping people have a great BCDO, including offering sun tan lotion and directions and sorting out issues and problems. CNI Network also had a stall in the Bazaar where we encouraged people to volunteer with local projects, talked to those interested in starting a night-time project and offered the Street Angels book and information. The Jesus Loves Festivals #MakingCityStreetsLikeNewAgain selfie board also attracted lots of attention (including Tim Vine and John Archer!) It was also great to meet and thank volunteers from around 30 of our local projects.
