#do1nicething
We are also hoping that you will consider getting involved with a "Love Your Streets Project" called #do1nicething, envisioned by Paul Blakey MBE. Every day, Love Your Streets has provided a simple daily suggestion that you can do, to make your neighbourhood a better place. The idea is also that those on twitter, tweet the suggestion for that day using#do1nicething so that we can allow the ideas to spread across the internet. In 2011, this idea was so popular that it was picked up by the secular media. What I love about this idea is most of the ideas don't take very long to do at all and yet if we all did them each day, we could really make a difference on our streets. We have added the #do1nicethingto our "Neighbour Friday" for the Lent period. This project is highlighted on pages 61-62 of Neighbours, Transform Your Street.
