Have a look at this message Leeds Street Angels got sent - well done Angels! "Hi I just wanted to send a quick little message to say a big thankyou. I was helped by two street angels last week after I'd gone into Leeds to meet my boyfriend. I'd worked until 9pm then the intention was to meet him, and share a taxi home however when I met him it was apparrent he'd had far too much to drink already. I sent his friends off to enjoy their night however soon after they left the alcohol seemed to really hit him and I struggled to manage him. The street angels approached me to see if I was ok. I was extremely distressed and my boyfriend almost non-responsive, members of the public were walking past just laughing at me. I had no idea how much he'd had to drink since he'd been out since 4pm without me, and no idea how I was going to get him home or even whether he may need hospital. The street angels reassured me and got my boyfriend to drink a bottle of water I'd bought for him. They got him up walking and waited with us whilst I called a taxi. I ended up staying up all night whilst he slept (because I was scared he would be sick and choke in his sleep!) then had to go to work at 8am the next day, so all in all it was an awful night but it could have been so much worse if you guys hadn't been there.
