Dear friend
No doubt you will be shocked by the scenes on TV of the situation in London and other cities across the UK. On behalf of CNI Network can we ask you to pray for: * Peace to come in our towns and cities * Good people to rise up in our communities and take control * Those who live, work, run businesses, etc in affected areas * Patrol projects - mainly Street Pastors - working in affected areas * Police, fire, ambulance, community, church and faith leaders in affected areas * Those "jumping on the bandwagon" and deciding to riot, loot, etc * The spiritual dimension behind the riots - that the spirit of chaos and anarchy will cease Can we also ask that projects take extra care and are extra vigilante this weekend - if copycat situations continue then patrol projects may need to be pulled for the safety of volunteers especially as much of the activity seem to be anti-police / authority and in town / city centre areas at night. Can we suggest a get home plan should anything happen in your town and if you work within a high potential area then you consult with local police to work out the best way of working over this weekend.
