The one day your church should not miss
You'll want your church to be at its very best for the 2012 Games. That's why our Get Set training day is not to be missed. We are going UK-wide on Saturdays from 10.30am to 4.30pm with the choice of 11 highly practical workshops. Your church will get new ideas, strategies, skills and resources to help them well beyond 2012. This is for all in your church who are involved with:

The full-day sessions are on Running Community Festivals, Using Sport to Impact Every Age-group and Being a Games Pastor. And electives are on ReachingChildren and Youth, the Torch Relay and Your Community, Prayer, Using International Mission Teams, Mission Through the Paralympics and Games-related Social Justice. The dates and locations for 'Get Set' are February: 4th Crawley, 25th Reading, 25thCardiff, March: 3rd Stoke ,3rd Bath, 10th Wolverhampton, 10th Central London, 17th Greenwich, 17th Gateshead, 24th Barnsley, 24th Weymouth, 31st Bolton, 31st East London, April: 21st Glasgow, 21st Stevenage, 28th Belfast, 28th Nottingham. The cost of the day is only £10 per person, with advance registration encouraged to secure your choice of workshops. Please book early and share the news with your church and others. Thanks.
