Northallerton Street Angels were commissioned at a special service at New Life Baptist Church, Northallerton. The service was attended by many of the 40 new volunteers as well as Northallerton Police, British Transport Police, Northallerton's MP, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, local councillors, representatives from the local authority, Stockton Town Pastors, Redcar Beacons and CNI Network. The morning included talks from Paul Blakey MBE, Sergeant Simon Wilson of Northallerton Police, two of the new volunteers and project coordinator and New Life pastor Steve Cowie.
