A comment on Twitter - someone talking about Street Angels - said,

'nobody's ever been that nice to me'

As volunteers invest into people and communities across the UK, Europe and Australia we are bringing hope, love, joy, niceness, peace and purpose to so many. The work we do counts! Feedback on social media every weeks shows the value others place on the help offered to them by a Street Angel, Town Pastor, Street Chaplain, NightLight volunteers. Thanks to all those who volunteer to make the difference in the lives of others...

Although the room allocation is almost full some are willing to share rooms to allow others to come.  People are welcome to join us for the Saturday which includes fast paced presentations, keynote speaker Debra Green OBE, lunch and a choice of workshops in the afternoon for £30 per person. The first 10 to book will also receive a "must have" conference bag!!! Book via this page.

Last month Paul and Jean, along with Rebekah Brettle from Neighbourhood Prayer Network, had the privilege of attending Festival of Life which is organised by Redeemed Christian Church of God network. Pastor Tunde from Kingsborough Church in Uxbridge invited Rebekah, Jean and Paul as part of the partnership between the church, Street Angels Hillingdon and Love Your Street. The event, in the Manchester Arena, was attended by almost 10,000 and was streamed live on Internet and TV. Paul was invited to share about the work of Street Angels - CNI Network and the impact it was having in communities. He then lead the congregation in praying for young people. Prayers were then said for the work of SA-CNI and the volunteers in communities across the UK and Europe who would be out on the streets that night.

The Town Pastors Network in Ipswich had a great weekend at Latitude Festival serving as Festival Pastors - pictures of the weekend are below.

Tamworth, Malton, Darlington, Guisborough, Soho and Richmond are all looking at launching Street Angels in the near future - please pray for these communities and for volunteers...

The Dude With Wings range is proving popular with cards, keyrings, magnets, mugs and posters available with the 'dude with wings' images. The range is available to local projects at half retail price which enables you to sell and raise money for your local work. See here. Whitby Street Angels have included the 'dude with wings' image on publicity - see here. The image is available for local use as long as the item is not for sale and there is a credit on the publication that says: "Dude with Wings" design and text © copyright Charisma Art Ltd. Used with permission. You will also need to email a copy of the item to Paul so he can check with Charisma Art.

Paul met with Kym-Marie from Wash my Pink Jumper last month. Wash My Pink Jumper is an organisation supporting young women who decide life is more important than drinking - "We provide support and encouragement to young women who have decided to leave the binge drinking culture and discover their true potential. We have telephone and text support and email for first enquires. We work alongside other charities and agencies, like Street Pastors and CNI Network. There are regular events that are attended by "BIG SISTER" mentors to encourage and guide. We can refer to third parties if we need further professional help. We will also seek to provide respite care if deemed appropriate." Find out more / see how you can set up in your area - web / Facebook

CNI Network now has 1200 plastic ducks which are ideal for fundraising duck races and duck chucks. They are stored in Halifax and available for other charities, organisations and projects to use for a donation (amount decided by you). Contact Paul for more information.
