What a good and faithful God we serve. For many years faithful Christians have spent countless hours in prayer for our town and for the people of Stockton. God has certainly answered those prayers because not only do we now have our Churches working together but we also have many Christian initiatives across Stockton.
One of these initiatives is Stockton Town Pastors which over the last 15 months or so God has really blessed. We have certainly made an impact on our community and not only have we helped many people but both the Police and Council value our work. I believe that all of this has come about as a result of the above prayers. However, as a result or all the blessings in Stockton (including a significant drop in the crime rate), we have in recent weeks had a little bit of a ‘kick-back’ from the enemy. I believe that prayer is the engine-room for all of God’s blessings. It is not only the starting-point but the fuel that keeps the blessings rolling on. We need to not only keep hold of the ground we have gained but to keep on moving forward. We have therefore planned a full day of prayer and fasting to take place on Thursday 10th March nextand would appreciate your support. We would be grateful if whilst going about your normal everyday duties you pray for Stockton and Stockton Town Pastors. We are aware that people do have certain dietary needs and others may have demanding physical jobs we will leave it to you to decide as to how you fast. Do not hesitate to telephone Steve or myself if you have any questions on this or any other matter. We will end the day by meeting at the Destiny Centre, Norton 7.00pm. – 9.00pm. for prayer and worship. Please come along if possible as it would be a great way for the Body of Christ to end the day of prayer and fasting. We would appreciate as many as possible at the Destiny Centre as your support is important to us. However for those who can’t make it, please continue praying wherever you may be. Below are a few prayer points;-
Please advertise this prayer day around your Church as we are aware that many people outside of Stockton Town Pastors pray for us and we would love them to join us in this prayer day and to come along to the Destiny Centre. It would be great to fill the Church!! Steve and I together with the management Board are grateful for all the support we receive both from inside and outside Stockton Town Pastors. Looking forward to see you and praying with you on Thursday 10 March. Comments are closed.
