Could you or your friends volunteer for Wembley?
The National Day of Prayer and Worship will be the biggest gathering of its kind for a generation as we believe for 70,000 Christians gather to worship and pray. With a venue the size of Wembley, even the smallest task can take longer to do than normal so it is important that we have a number of people involved. To ensure everything runs smoothly there is going to be a large team of people helping on the day and the two days leading up to Saturday 29th September. On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th we need volunteers to setup the different rooms, prepare tubs for the offering, setup the meet and greet tables for the leaders reception, get the commemorative programmes ready and in the right places, and be ready to help all the media companies involved in the day. On Saturday 29th September we need volunteers to assist those coming to the Day of Prayer, you will be the first smiling face that people will see as they arrive at Wembley. If you are able to volunteer your time for any of these three days then you can register on the volunteer page of the site. Mass Choir There is going to be a mass choir on the day of hundreds of people to support the worship and if you or your church worship group would like to be part of this then you can register on the choir page of the website. We will be scheduling rehearsals for the end of August and during September. More details of which will be sent to you once you apply. Thank you for helping to make the National Day of Prayer and Worship happen. Comments are closed.
