Week of Prayer and Investment for night-time...

9/13/2011

Dear friend

From Saturday Christian Nightlife Initiatives Network - www.cninetwork.org.uk - is holding a week of prayer to pray for the night-time economy of our nation and to celebrate the amazing things the church is doing week in and week out to make the night-time of towns and cities safer and better places.

Please find attached a prayer resource we have produced - please do use this in your services and prayer meetings especially during the week 17th - 25th September.

As part of this week, Paul and Jean Blakey (founders of Street Angels - Christian Nightlife Initiatives) and Adam May (Development Officer CNI) are walking 62 miles of the Caledonian Canal from Fort William to Inverness. Setting off on Sunday 18th September they hope to complete this in 3 days. They are collecting sponsorship and are inviting churches, local projects, partners and individuals to invest into the work of CNI through this walk. A sponsor form is attached - if you feel you can highlight this in your church or group then please do.

Also yesterday CNI were part of the Big Briefing launch for More Than Gold - the churches response to the Olympics. Can we encourage you to be part of the amazing opportunities that this country has next year - morethangold.org.uk

Many thanks and God bless

Paul and Adam
